Inside Sales Representative - Irvine, California
SMC Networks, Inc. is looking for an Inside Sales person in our Irvine office. The successful candidate must have a technical background in networking products and at least two years experience. They must understand the theory of LANs WLAN and enjoy continued learning of technology. They must be self-motivated to keep up on industry events. Must possess excellent communication skills. This person will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and growing revenue for the geography
  • Managing the sales process in deals that have strategic value
  • Facilitating resources as needed to close large opportunities
  • Maintaining Pipeline for all opportunities within territory
  • Developing strong relationships with key strategic accounts within the district
  • Identifying and developing new VAR Partners within territory
  • Developing overall territory plan including CSM activities
  • Top Line growth of territory revenue quarter over quarter in (4) select product areas (Switching, LAN Technology, VDSL and Wireless)
  • Partner lead management and follow up
  • Help Select Partners close end-user deals, including design, configuration, and sales support
  • Actively promote Spiffs/Promotions with Select Partners
  • Involve the Area Manager in Partner reviews
  • Maintain an in depth knowledge of the complete product line
  • Maintain a knowledge of SMC’s key competitor’s product line
  • Provide timely reports as required by the Area Manager
  • Provide feedback to marketing and Segment management on programs and product
