Overview
With the SMC9452TX 32-bit Gigabit PC Card, network traffic slowdowns will be a
thing of the past. With speeds 10 times faster than Fast Ethernet, the
SMC9452TX operates at 1000 Mbps using existing Category 5 networking cables
and boosts your connection speed with 2000 Mbps of dedicated full-duplex
bandwidth over copper wiring. The SMC9452TX also uses auto-negotiation to
ensure backward-compatibility with Ethernet and Fast Ethernet standards. The
SMC9452TX is plug-and-play compatible and works with Category 5e and above
Ethernet cables, so your migration to Gigabit Ethernet doesn't mean a total
network overhaul. High throughput is delivered with minimal CPU utilization
thanks to features such as TCP and UDP checksum, flow control, and jumbo frame
support. Add management tools such as the Marvell® Virtual Cable TesterTM for
advanced cable diagnostics, Wake-On-LAN, SNMP, and RMON and you’ll see why the
