Short description
The SMC8505T is a 5-/8-port 10/100/1000 switch that combines Ethernet, Fast
Ethernet, and Gigabit connectivity in one solution. Each port supports
auto-MDI/MDI-X. The SMC8505T supports Jumbo Packets, complies with IEEE802.3,
IEEE802.3u, and IEEE802.3ab/Gigabit, and features store-and-forward mode with
wire-speed filtering, Automatic Source Address Learning and Aging, broadcast
storm control, and runt and CRC filtering.

The SMC8505T is a high-performance 5-/8-port 10/100/1000 unmanaged switch that
combines Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit connectivity to remove server
bottlenecks and speed up access time for users. Each port supports
auto-MDI/MDI-X to simplify integration into a network. The SMC8505T also
supports Jumbo Packets, complies with the IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, and
IEEE802.3ab/Gigabit standards, and features store-and-forward mode with
wire-speed filtering, Automatic Source Address Learning and Aging, broadcast
storm control, and runt and CRC filtering.
