Important Customer Service Information
- If you experience a problem with your SMC product, please contact Technical Support. If Technical Support determines the product to be defective, and the product is still under warranty,
they will issue an authorization number and you will need to call a Customer Service Representative at 1-800-762-4968 to process your RMA request and obtain return instructions.
- You may also process an RMA online at http://customers.smc.com
- Customer Service is available Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm Pacific Time. Tech support is available 24/7.
- SMC does NOT issue refunds for product. Refunds must be obtained from the place of purchase.
- You can request a standard RMA - ship upon arrival, or an advance replacement, which requires credit card information. We accept Master Card, American Express or Visa. Your card will not be charged as long as the product is returned to SMC within 30 days.
- Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly visible on the outside of the package. If the RMA number is not clearly visible, the package will be refused. The use of a traceable carrier (UPS, FEDEX, etc) is highly recommended to provide proof of delivery.
USPS is not a traceable carrier. The defective product should be returned to SMC prepaid by the customer. SMC will pay to ship the replacement product to the customer using FedEx Express Saver or UPS Ground. Most replacement items can be shipped out within 24 hours
of receipt of the defective item.
- Please package the unit carefully. Units should be wrapped in a "bubble-wrap" plastic sheet or bag for shipping protection. Please only return the defective unit and power supply. You may keep all documents, discs and cables that came with the product.
CAUTION: Do not pack the unit in Styrofoam "popcorn" type packing material. This material may cause electro-static shock damage to the unit.
